Bovine virus diarrhoea in cattle
Norway is regarded as free from bovine virus diarrhoea.
The aim of the national surveillance and control programme for bovine virus diarrhoea (BVD) is to document freedom from the infection in the Norwegian cattle population and to contribute to the maintenance of this favourable situation.
2021
Bovine viral diarrhoea virus was not detected in any of the herds sampled in 2021.
